Manual Lymph Drainage Introductory Short Course

Gay Lee Gulbrandson is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing education Approved Provider.
This 4, 8, or 12 CE In-Service Course is an engaging MLD Introduction or Refresher. The course is tailored to the needs and interests of a group or institution on introduction to Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD). A lecture is given with slides and appropriate handouts to present the underlying theory of MLD function, lymph system physiology, therapist training availability and course of study from the DVSI, and more. Topics usually include (appropriate to the audience) an overview of lymph pathways, fluid movement, lymph system function, LCT and edemas. Question and answer sessions are normally included. Chosen MLD Topic Cards enrich the curriculum and serve as a quick-reference. DVSI course of study is recommended. A conference or organization may contract for this course, with or without CE credit.
